Little Is Much
Scripture: 1 Samuel 14:1–15
Preached by: Justin Wittlin
The world says you need great numbers, great influence, and great resources to make a difference. God says otherwise.
In this powerful message from 1 Samuel 14, Justin Wittlin examines the remarkable faith of Jonathan and his armour bearer as they climbed toward a Philistine garrison, trusting that “there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.” While an entire nation sat in fear, two men believed God was able to give the victory.
This sermon challenges every believer to stop waiting for ideal circumstances and to step out by faith with the gospel. God has never needed crowds to change lives—He is looking for willing servants. Whether witnessing to one person, knocking on a single door, handing out one gospel tract, or preaching Christ in the face of opposition, God delights in using those who simply trust Him.
Don’t underestimate what God can do through one surrendered life. Little is much when God is in it.
Key Scripture: 1 Samuel 14:6 (KJV)
“And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for us: for there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.”
