Meet Our Pastor

Brother Jayson Hill has a sincere desire to glorify God by faithfully preaching and teaching the word of God. With a heart for souls and a deep conviction that the Bible is the inspired, preserved, and perfect word of God, he is committed to helping individuals and families grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

He was saved at sixteen and soon surrendered his life to serve the Lord. He has spent decades studying, teaching, ministering and proclaiming the truths of the Holy Bible. His desire is simple: to exalt Christ, strengthen believers, and faithfully share the Gospel with those who do not know the Lord. In 2011 he became a graduate of the DeLand School of the Bible under Pastor James W. Knox. From that time he ministered at The Bible Baptist Church by teaching in the Bible School and Adult Sunday School. He also served as the Children's Church and Bus Ministry Director for twelve years.

Pastor Hill firmly believes that the local church is extremely important for reaching the world with the Gospel and discipling believers. His preaching is Bible-centered, practical, and rooted in the timeless truths of God’s word. He is committed to preaching the whole counsel of God with both conviction and compassion.

Alongside his wife, Merissa, Jayson desires to build a church family that is welcoming, Christ-honoring, and firmly grounded in Scripture. Together they have a burden to see individuals saved, families strengthened, children taught the truths of God’s word, and believers equipped to serve the Lord faithfully.
